Which Longboard surfboard should I buy ? I would of put simply longboard but there is some confusion on search engines whether a longboard is a skateboard or a surfboard. Here today, it is a surfboard.
Which Longboard should I get –
This all depends on where you are in your surfing journey. If your a beginner & have heard that you need a longboard to start & progress. Then you are definitely on the right track. In this instance, I would recommend riding a softboard.
But if you’re an intermediate surfer then I would go a little harder & higher up the shelf. The Torq range is the best value for money when it comes to durability & fun. A board that is going to last for years & rides great. NSP is in this conversation also & provides a similar bang for your buck.
What if I am an experienced surfer –
If you are already experienced then you probably have a good idea of what you want. Is it volume you are after or performance. If you are wanting to get more waves than you used to, then the go to is a Walden Mega Magic. So much volume & guys come back to us & get another size because they love how it rides so much. If your after performance then a Gerry Lopez Long Haul or Takayama in the pink would be suitable.
