Spy Optics review March 13, 2022 – Tags: , , , , ,

My First pair of Spy Optics were sometime around 20 years ago, maybe 2001. Long before I had embarked on the journey of extreme sports retail & today a Spy Optics review. I remember those sunglasses fondly, they were red & chunky with a black lens, they made me feel cooler. Every time I put them on, they gave me a certain confidence & they felt strong & durable. I must of had those for a couple of years before they got lost somewhere in the vortex of life.

The Spy Optics Lifestyle Review –

Fast forward that 20 years or so & here I am doing a Spy Optics review. It is no secret they are a leading brand in the extreme sports category, from Moto x to Snow goggles & a lifestyle range to rival any other big eyewear label. The big thing for me was the loud styles that Spy are running, not loud in an Elton John eyewear type of way but more that clean, chunky look that gives confidence when you put them on.

The Spy Optics Cyrus is a personal favourite of mine for this reason –

Spy Optics review of Moto x & Snow Goggles –

That being a personal preference, the quality is definitely there which is not down to preference more make & durability. Nice clean frames, shiny or matte, strong arms that need to be pushed gently closed, sitting on your head sturdy which is how you want them. So it shows in this part of our Spy Optics review that I rate the sunglasses. But what about the Moto x & snow goggles.

Doing a full Spy Optics review I have to be honest here. I am a bit out of my depth when reviewing these styles. As I am not a snowboarder or moto x rider. Having said that we do know people who have used these Spy styles & have given the tick of approval. One of Spy’s mottos is that they are putting rumours to bed & letting everyone know they have been in Moto x for over 25 years! When it comes to snow, perhaps it would be good to hear from the cats mouth, a link to Spy’s explanation on their snow equipment technology –
