The Catch Skipper Pro Review. We have reviewed Catch Surf as a whole & also the Log specifically. The next in line is the Catch Skipper Pro which makes sense in relation to the rest of the range. The Log is the biggest seller in the Catch range. I think you would find the Skipper at second spot.
Catch skipper Pro Review –
The Catch Skipper has plenty of volume. It has however, been hidden nicely by Catch. Meaning that kids can still learn comfortably, but progression is very possible. Advanced surfers can always have some fun generating speed down the line. This is where it differs from the Log as it has a more refined outline.
What to look out for –
The main thing people say about this board is it’s very versatile. Most would be surfers can learn on one & can also progress. Which is a draw card as not all soft boards are this way. Some have said these boards could be stronger on the deck. That being said, a softboard is exactly that, so we have to be realistic. They stack up durability wise with most other leading brands.
Summary –
The Catch Skipper Pro is a versatile board, with a great team behind it. The price is on the higher side for a softboard. But we believe the value is there.
