Hayden Shapes Hypto Krypto review April 19, 2023

The Hayden Shapes Hypto Krypto review. A board that needs no introduction & we may have even reviewed this one nearly a decade ago. A refresh is always important though. There is more than one Hypto now, so I reckon they are worth a mention.

Hayden Shapes Hypto Krypto review –

It’s been commonly said, the Hypto is a one board quiver. For it’s versatility in small waves through to holding in when it is solid. I have said it once & il continue to say it. Models that have models built around it are often a winner. The Hypto is no exception. It has had a twin built around it. Softboards & also spin off models. I think the most recent is the Holy Hypto now.

What are people saying –

Craig Anderson has said many times, that there is no other board he would rather have under his feet. More average surfers have raved about the forward volume point & the pulled in tail. This has always meant, catching more waves & holding in if it is pumping. There is talk of average surfers doing airs on waves when they would never usually expect to. This comes from speed generated that you would not expect to normally have on another board.

The Hypto somehow always manages to stay relevant. I guess because the board stays tried & true. People are always talking positively about the Hypto which creates froth!
